Hi and welcome to the first weekly blog post about my experience in animation class this week. So, here we go...
What I learned:
This week I learned how to use the basics of Adobe Illustrator. We focused mostly on the pen tool and how to manipulate anchors to your own desire.
What I want to learn:
In the future I'd like to learn how to correctly use the live paint bucket tool, and how to properly shade and highlight parts of a piece of work.
Something that frustrated me this week:
Well, something that I was frustrated with, and I'm sure everyone in class is, was not being able to get down to work right away. But, I get it, it's the beginning of the school year and we need to learn the basics.
Something that made me happy this week:
What made me happy this week was learning about animation throughout history. I've never gone as far as to even question how the production is at some stages so to actually understand it, and know what it's like was unbelievable.
A link of interest:
I found this video a few weeks back and thought to myself that it kind of fits with animation. I feel as if we might be using a lot of the techniques in this video.
